1. Ses Salines Natural Park.

To the north of the island, extends the Ses Salines Natural Park , an oasis of biodiversity that extends to the south of Ibiza. Considered one of the most important wetlands in the Mediterranean, this park offers an unparalleled visual spectacle. The salt flats, with their crystalline pools and islets, make up a dream setting, providing habitat for a large number of aquatic birds and a transit point for a multitude of migratory species, delighting bird watchers.

Beyond the coast, the interior of Formentera also holds priceless natural treasures . Extensive pine forests and scrub cover the island, creating a refuge for rich fauna. Rabbits, hedgehogs, reptiles and birds of prey inhabit this green environment, completing the natural mosaic of Formentera.

The sea that embraces the island is another of its great attractions. Posidonia , an aquatic plant endemic to the Mediterranean and declared a World Heritage Site , forms extensive underwater meadows that oxygenate and give life to marine ecosystems.

The beaches of Formentera are the jewel in the crown of the Pitiusas and constitute true natural paradises, bathed by transparent and turquoise waters, which run along the peculiar cut shape of an island that is unique in the Mediterranean. Its entire coastline is made up of white sand beaches, rock coves and corners that become a haven of tranquility.

Located to the north, within the Natural Park and considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world , we find Ses Illetes . With more than 450 meters of white sand and its calm, shallow waters, it is the most spectacular landscape on the island.

Occupying the entire coast opposite Ses Illetes we find the Levante beach , which has nothing to envy, it faces east and extends along 1,450 meters of white sand and crystal clear waters.

Another great option is Es Pujols beach. Although it is urban, it maintains the same beauty as the rest of the island's coastline and has the advantage of having all kinds of services just a step away. In addition, it is adapted for people with reduced mobility.

The Migjorn area. It is the southern coast of Formentera that extends for 5 km and has various coves and paradisiacal beaches that make up a privileged enclave, among them we highlight Caló d'Es Mort.

Cala Saona , for its part, is considered the jewel of the western coast of Formentera for its turquoise waters, its reddish soil and dreamlike sunsets.
For those looking for more privacy, Ses Platgetes is the perfect place. Located in Es Caló, it is a charming, unfrequented corner, with a fishing port and specialized gastronomic establishments.
